The Steak and Stein portrays a unique family atmosphere where for over 38 years groups of all sizes have come to know us for good food and great value.

Two restaurants, centrally located in Halifax and Dartmouth, specialize in a variety of quality affordable steak, available either charbroiled or marinated in our original and very popular Derby style blend. Besides steak we offer tasty BBQ ribs and Seafood dishes, all moderately priced and served in spacious dining rooms with seating for up to 275 guests.

Breakfast is served daily from 7:30 am*. Besides the main dinner menu, we also have a full dessert menu that includes a number of home-style varieties, like Bread Pudding and Strawberry Shortcake, and are fully licensed. We excel in providing fast and friendly service, to the young and young at heart.
