In recent years the ownership team at Deluxe has been investigating cleaner technologies in order to become a more sustainable company as it grows. As of 2009 the company acquired the rights to GreenEarth Cleaning Technologies (www.greenearthcleaning.com). This new dry cleaning solution runs off a silicon based product that is environmentally friends, odour-less and can be safely recycled once used.

With its advances in green technology Deluxe Dry Cleaners has been able to establish itself as one of the primary cleaners in the Metro Area. For its work in this area Deluxe became the Recipient of the 12th Annual Environmental Excellence in Business Awards (2011) from Dalhousie University
